MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL – Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) will hold the 2023-2024 commencement ceremonies Thursday, May 9, 2024, for the Phil Campbell and Shoals campuses in the Patriot Center (gym) on the Shoals campus.
Nursing Pinning and Commencement ceremonies will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024, in the following order:

Nurse Pinning Ceremony (ADN and PN) – 11:00 a.m.; Highland Park Baptist Church; Muscle Shoals, Ala.

NWSCC Commencement – 4:00 p.m.; NWSCC Shoals campus; Patriot Center (gym)

NWSCC Commencement – 6:30 p.m.; NWSCC Shoals campus; Patriot Center (gym)
Graduates from the summer semester of 2023 through spring semester of 2024 will be recognized.
“Our graduates’ dedication, resilience, and passion have fueled their journey to this moment,” said NWSCC President Dr. Jeff Goodwin. “I am so excited to celebrate them and their accomplishments next Thursday. This is a special day they will always remember and I look forward to seeing the positive impact they have on our community moving forward.”
According to the NWSCC Enrollment Management Office, approximately 790 students have completed requirements for graduation. Approximately 285 students plan to participate in graduation ceremonies.
Caps and gowns can be purchased from the Campus Bookstore. The commencement ceremony and Nursing Pinning ceremonies will be live streamed on the College’s official Facebook page.
