Norman McVay – Obituary

NormanNorman McVay was born December 7, 1940 in Henderson, TN the son of the late Carl T and Eula McCann McVay.
Mr. McVay was a retired police officer having served on the Bethel Springs Police Department. Some of his favorite pastimes were watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball, collecting baseball cards, playing dominoes, playing checkers, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. McVay departed this life on August 21, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 14 Days.

He is survived by three daughters, Christy McVay of Henderson, TN, Sharon Hopper and husband Michael of Henderson, TN, Glenda Klein and husband Reuben of Henderson, TN; six grandchildren, Payton Rowland, Madison Hopper, Hannah Cooper, Zachary Cooper, Noah Klein, and Kearstin Harris all of Henderson, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McVay was preceded in death by two sisters, Lynda Alberson, Dorothy Johnson; four brothers, Albert McVay, Carl T. McVay Jr., Larry McVay, and A.C. McVay.
