Norman “Jamup” Kennedy – Obituary

Norman “Jamup” Kennedy, 79, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, October 1, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Kennedy was a U. S. Army veteran, and a member of the Burnsville Lodge #233 F&AM and the Corinth Scottish Rite. He was retired from GMAC, and was later self-employed. Mr. Kennedy was a lifetime honorary president of the Piney Grove Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 3, graveside at North Crossroads Community Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Michael French. Interment will follow in North Crossroads Community Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia French and husband, Michael, of Alsip, IL, and Kellie Johnson and husband, Gary, of Corinth, MS; one brother, Pejoe Arnold of Iuka, MS; two sisters, Rejetta Strickland of Nashville, TN, and Bonnie Arnold of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
