Norma Kaye Palmer Colburn, 67, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at her home. She was born May 13, 1955, in Baldwyn, to Rube and Era Williams Palmer. She worked at Super Sagless for 25 years. She enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Douglas Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Kayla Sartin and Kellie Colburn; two grandsons, Bentley Lollar and Xander Lollar; one granddaughter, Madilyn Kaye Colburn, all of Mantachie; seven sisters, Ruby Faye Pettigo of Kirkville, Linda Kemp (Billy) of Peppertown, Wanda Clayton (James) of Dorsey, Peggy Pedigo (Charles Alan) of Dumas, Eleanor Lindley (Bill) of Red Bay, AL., Mary Jean Brolin (Ernie) of Illinois, Theresa Share of Memphis; three brothers, Billy Palmer of Illinois, Jimmy Palmer (Brenda) of Pratts, and Charles Palmer (Gail) of the Houston Community; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Howard Palmer, Esel Palmer, Robert Palmer, Sammy Palmer, and Johnny Edwin Palmer; one sister, Rebecca Patterson; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jason Pettigo, Jimmy Pettigo, Mike Gray, Johnny Kemp, Ryan Thompson, and Roger Sartin.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
