Norma Jean Acton, 57, of Gurley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her home.
Mrs. Acton was the daughter of the late George Edward Greene and Shelby Jean Ray Greene.
She was of the Christian faith and spent a majority of her life in the North Alabama area.
She is preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law James P. Acton, one sister, Julia Greene, as well as two brothers, Marvin Greene and Charlie Greene.
Mrs. Acton is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ricky Acton, one son, Phillip Acton, three brothers, George (Nancy) Greene, Charles Greene, and John Greene, three sisters, Janice (Chip) Cannon, Irita Adcock, and Joyce Newcomb, mother-in-law Mary (David) Craft, brother-in-law John Craft Jr., and sister-in-law Michelle (Coy) Bunch, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service has been scheduled for Mrs. Acton at Gatlin Cemetery on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
