Norma FordNorma Dean Sawyers Ford, age 88, of Belton, TX, and formerly of Greenbrier, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 in TX after a short illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with family officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Shawn Lemley, Isaac Beckham, Hunter Clinard, Ryan Beckham, Logan Beckham, Owen Traughber, Scott Beckham and Zachary Lemley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Bush, Jr. and Sara Lemley.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4-7pm and again on Saturday from 10am until the hour of service at 2pm.

Mrs. Ford was born January 22, 1936 in Logan County, Kentucky to the late Leonard Guy and Elsie Louise Copeland Sawyers. She worked as a machine operator at Acme Boot Company for many years, loved quilting, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and participated in the Christmas Sampler for more than 40 years.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Ford is preceded in death by her first husband, Loyce Beckham and her husband of 57 years, Carlos Harris Ford, daughter Judy Hulsey, and brother Leonard Sawyers. Mrs. Ford is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Mary Ruth Beckham of Belton, TX; grandchildren, Shawn and Sharon Lemley of Cummings GA, Ryan and Danielle Beckham of San Antonio, TX, Scott and April Beckham of Belton, TX, and Brittany and Kevin Clinard of Russellville, KY; and great-grandchildren, Sara Lemley, Zachary Lemley, Hunter Clinard, Hayden Clinard, Harris Clinard, Isaac Beckham, Logan Beckham, Kaitlyn Beckham, Dylan Beckham, and Blake Beckham.

Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
