Funeral Services for Nora Lee Sterling, age 85 of Hanceville, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Cullman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Laodicea Cemetery, with Bro. Fred Wilks officiating.

Nora was born on May 19, 1930 to the late John & Mae Rebecca Shoemaker Moore. She passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Preceded in death by her parents, a previous husband, William Mikeal; one son, Don Mikeal; 5 – brothers and 3 – sisters.
Survivors include his Husband – George W. Sterling Jr.; 3 – Sons – James, Ricky & David Mikeal; 3 – Daughters – Louise Turner, Renda Abbott & Sharon Allred; 3 – Sisters – Ommi, Angie & Frances; 32 – Grandchildren; 34 Great-Grandchildren; 3 – Great-Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday night from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
