Nora Elizabeth Osborn, 91, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her home.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Turner and Emma Collins Turner, her husband of 59 years, James W. Osborn, one son, Billie Osborn, five brothers: Elmon “Bud” Turner, Carlos “Wayne” Turner, Aubrey Turner, William Turner, and Marshall Turner, as well as one sister, Nellie Webster.
She is survived by one son, Donnie (Deborah) Osborn, two daughters, Carolyn Sands and Robin (Kevin) Hester, one brother, Nolan Turner, two sisters, Audrey Living and Emma Hardiman, as well as 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Nora lived around the Ardmore area for over 20 years and was a member of Sweet Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening and tending to her flowers.
There will be a visitation held for Mrs. Osborn at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled to begin immediately after visitation at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
