Nona Inez Harland, 95, of Cherokee, died Saturday, November 22, 2014. Her visitation will be Tuesday, November 25th from 10 am until 11 am at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Riverton Rose Trail Douthit Cemetery.
Mrs. Harland was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Harland and was a member of Margerum Methodist Church. Nona retired from Genesco Shoe Factory, in Iuka, after 22 years of service and continued to work for Life Data Labs until age 92.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Gravlee and husband Frank, and Betty Oliver and husband Jerry; sister, Margie Sloan and husband Stuart; grandchildren, Phil Oliver and wife Joyce, Nicole Fults and husband Greg; step grandchildren, Joe Gravlee and wife Glenda, Scott Gravlee and wife Amy, and Van Gravlee and wife Mary; great grandchildren, Trent Oliver, Heather Oliver, Tylor Oliver, and Maryanne Fults; Step great grandchildren, Joseph Gravlee, Ben Gravlee, Elizabeth Gravlee,Martha Gravlee, H. Scott Gravlee, Sara Gravlee, Michael Gravlee, Steven Gravlee, and Stacie Gravlee.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
