Noma Lee Tyler was born December 6, 1925 in Cherokee, Alabama, the daughter of the late John Dewey and Beatrice Ethel Gean Fowler. On August 31, 1945 she was united in marriage to Dennie Rayburn Tyler, who preceded her in death on August 23, 2004.
Mrs. Tyler was employed by the Tennessee Valley Electric Company in Savannah, Tennessee for thirty-six years; she began as a cashier and later became a consumer accountant. Mrs. Tyler was raised in the Pentecostal faith and joined the Foursquare Church in Savannah, Tennessee; she eventually joined the Crump United Methodist Church in Crump, Tennessee. She enjoyed working with her flowers and she loved her family.
Mrs. Tyler departed this life on July 3, 2014 in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 88 years, 6 months and 27 days.
She is survived by her daughter, Shiela Tyler Megginson and her husband, Richard of Saltillo, Mississippi; grandchild, Zachary John Tyler; and brother, John Everett Tyler and his wife, Jane of Savannah, Tennessee.
