Nola Faye Brown Walton, 95, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Born on October 7, 1928, in Lafayette County, Faye was a homemaker, raising three sons, while her husband served in the United States Army. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Faye is survived by her 3 sons, Randy Walton (Janis) of Alabama, Terry Walton (Cathy) of Pontotoc, and Davey Walton of Randolph; 5 grandchildren, Brandi Carr (Joey) of Alabama, Nola Flynn (Brock) of Alabama, Adam Walton (Heather) of Idaho, Nikki Walton of Pontotoc, and Shelby Walton (Austin) of Pontotoc; and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Darwin “Sonny” Walton, before his death in 2018, they were married for 69 years.
Services will be Friday, July 19, 2024, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Visitation will begin at 10AM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens.
Luke Walton and Oakley Martin will serve as honorary pallbearers.
