Noel Lynn Sloan, 56 of Lacey’s Spring died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Sloan was born March 24, 1959 in Marshall County, the son of Donald Lynn and Peggy Nell Selby Sloan. He was a 20 year previous resident of Birmingham, an avid Auburn fan and has called the Lacey’s Spring area his home for the past 3 years.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Christina and Richard Erby; two grandchildren: Mehala Chrislyn Westbrooks and Logan Richard Erby; two brothers: Donald Terry Sloan and Stevie Linnes Sloan; a sister and brother-in-law: Christinia and Jason Walters; two nieces: Amber Pearman and Amanda Wright; preceded in death by his wife: Priscilla (Feb 2013).
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Calvary Holiness Church, Brother Shelby Sloan, officiating. The family elected cremation to follow the service, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted with cremation arrangements and directing the service.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Calvary Holiness Church (9848 Highway 36 East; Lacey’s Spring, AL 35754).
