Noel Dean Butler, age 91, passed away in her home surrounded by family in Pulaski, Tennessee on February 9, 2022.
Dean was born on February 28, 1930, in Florence, Alabama to the late Noel and Carrie Meigs.
Dean was a devoted Baptist and spent many years as a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church. She loved reading the book of Psalms and would recite it.
Dean was also an impressive seamstress and quilter. She made so many things in her lifetime including her children’s clothes for school. If she wasn’t either quilting or sewing, she was probably riding on her lawnmower.
When Dean wasn’t at home, she was riding around town looking for any yard sale she could get her hands on.
Dean was very family-oriented and would spend as much time with her loved ones as she could. She would love to camp with them and spend time with them and her beloved dog, Maxie.
She was the best Kiki and mom to her kids and grandkids, and she will be truly missed.
Dean was reunited with the love of her life and husband of 50 years in heaven, Paul Butler.
Dean is also preceded by her parents.
Dean is survived by her brother: Jack Meigs of Loretta, Tennessee; children: Freddy (Terri) Butler of Columbia, Angela White of Pulaski, Pam Durbin of Pulaski, and David Butler of Pulaski; grandchildren: Billy and Sheryl Butler, Becky Seagraves, Tammy, and Tony Hammer, Shannon Durbin, Adam, and Lorna Butler; greatgrandchildren: Bradden Seagraves, Chase Seagraves, Justin Dickey, Holley Wise, Paige Sisk, Camden Butler, Colten Butler, Lexi Mallard, Matthew Brown, Serenity Mallard, DD Butler, and Sammy Butler; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
