Mr. Noble Edgar Dobbins, age 80, of Lacey’s Spring, AL, gained his angel wings on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Madison Hospital, Madison, Alabama.
Mr. Dobbins was born on November 5, 1940, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Edgar and Louise Wheeler Dobbins. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines and was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his dog and best buddy, Jackson. Together they enjoyed watching all sports, especially, NASCAR. They also enjoyed doing word search puzzles.
Mr. Dobbins leaves behind his children; daughters, Sherry Mata (Danny) of Riverside, CA, and Denise Gossett of Lacey’s Spring, AL; sons, Keith (Celeste) Gossett of Lacey’s Spring, AL, and Mike (Tammy) Gossett of South Zanesville, OH; grandchildren, Jeremy and Rachel Mata of Riverside, CA; Mike (Tasha) Gossett of Arab, AL, Keeley Gossett (Marquis) of Harvest, AL, Shae (Chris) Oakley, Seth and Sawyer Hammonds of Lacey’s Spring, AL, and several great grandchildren; sisters in law, Patricia McNeal of Huntsville, AL and Micki (Brion) Hubbard of Zanesville, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dobbins is preceded in death by his beloved wife “Turtle” Sandra S. Dobbins; sisters, Zama Dobbins and Doris Hambrick, both of Zanesville, Ohio.
Mr. Dobbins will be missed very much by all who knew him and loved him.
