Nina Ruth Swift Keith, age 89 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky on April 18, 1935, to the late Benton and Sara (Lynn) Swift. A dedicated homemaker, Ruth enjoyed quilting and sewing, but most of all spoiling her precious family. A true Christian lady, she was a devoted member of Cowan Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William R. “Bill” Keith; daughter, Linda Woosley; son, Stephen A. Keith; sons-in-law, Ron Woosley and Neal Henderson; daughter-in-law, Kathy Keith; and siblings, Charlie Swift, Nell Ogletree, Joe Swift, Marie Morrison, Jean Masters, and James Swift. Ruth is survived by her loving children, Beverly Henderson, and Hank (Doris) Keith; grandchildren, Ben Keith, Karen (Tray) Norwood, Will (Misty) Keith, Andy (Hannah) Keith, Josh (Jessie) Keith, Rebecca Henderson, Adam (Tessie) Henderson, and Daniel (Lauren) Henderson; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Monday, December 23 2024, at Cowan Church of Christ with funeral services following at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.
