Funeral service for Nina Katherine Partlow Winkles, 81, will be Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Russell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Winkles passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at her residence. She was born September 14, 1943, in Calhoun County, to William Harrison Partlow and Nancy Mildred Crawford Partlow.
She was a member of Falkville United Methodist Church and was very active in her Community, volunteering and working to help others. She was a former Jayceette, and a Board Member for the Falkville City Cemetery. Mrs. Winkles loved Christmas, singing, working in her yard and caring for her flowers, and especially taking her special trips and adventures with her “favorite granddaughter” Logan. Dear to her heart were the “Ladies from the puzzle table”, but above all she loved the Lord and her family and friends the most. She was employed by Bell South, prior to her retirement, where she began as a switchboard operator and was a Business Office Supervisor upon retirement.
Preceding her in death were her husband; William Robert Winkles, her parents, brothers; Tommy Partlow, Bobby Partlow, sister; Billie Laney, a bonus grandson; Jack Grandstaff and a bonus great grandson; Braedon Grandstaff, Brothers-in-law; Robert Vinzant, Jack McCaig, J.D. Light, Ernie Holmes, and Hal Laney, and Sisters-in-law; Sandy Partlow and Polly Holmes.
Her family wishes to extend a “Special Thanks” to her Oncologist- Daryl Outlaw, her Surgeon- Dr. Gregory Kennedy and Cullman Regional Home Health and Hospice Services and Nurse- Krystal, Kelly and Brittany Lynn.

Special Friend – Tina Rogers, that she called family.
