Mrs. Williams was born October 6,1937 to Homer and Lillian Ticer Jones. She passed from this life on August 27, 2024. She became our “Faye Faye” after she had grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren and her face lit up when they came to visit. Her door was always open for her family whom she always just wanted us to walk in. She was an avid reader and loved gardening. Faye always wanted to be outside working in her yard. She loved to read her mysteries. She also loved going to her homeplace in Waterloo where she grew up. It was her favorite place to enjoy the outdoors. Faye loved watching Alabama football. Faye was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church.
She also loved her grand dog, Lizzie. Lizzie was what she looked forward to everyday. When she called, she always asked about her “baby” first. She called Lizzie her “Baby.” She loved to take care of everyone. She sat with elderly neighbors for years to help keep them out of a nursing home.
