Nina Faye Gurganus, age 81 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Mackey Boshell Cemetery. Levi Sides will officiate.
Mrs. Gurganus was preceded in death by her Parents-Harold and Azilee Nix; Brothers-Leon Nix and Terrell Gene Nix; Sisters-Patricia Wakefield and JoAnn Waid.
She is survived by her Daughter-Sandra G. Evans; Son-Danny M. Gurganus; Sister-Juanita Channell; Brother-Calvin Nix; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Michael Gurganus, Patrick Barrett, Reed Swindle, Jonathan Appling, Harold Nix and Steve Gurganus.
