Sgt. Nick Risner, age 40, of Killen, Alabama, passed away October 2, 2021. Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2021 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Faith Church, 3601 Florence Blvd., Florence, Alabama. The service will start at 2:00 pm, and a private burial will follow. He served the community faithfully with the Sheffield Police Department. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.
