Newman Dean Petty, 89, of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away March 16, 2025 at Donalson Care Center Fayetteville, Tennessee . He was born on February 14, 1936 in Madison County Alabama to Arthur and Dulie (Bankston ) Petty .
Newman is survived by Glen Petty and many friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dulie Petty, significant other, Shelba Jean Mahaffey, brothers, Delmar Bankston, William Petty and Wayne Petty.
The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, March 19 at Hazel Green Funeral Home from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Campbell Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Christ Bankston, Jeff Petty, BJ Casey, Cody Casey, Brice Casey and Bucky Herrin. Honorary pall bearers will be David Keith, Bruce Casey and Don Bankston.
