Nelta Ann Dickson Morrison, age 82 passed away December 7, 2023, at her home.
She was born November 27, 1941, at Morris Chapel, the daughter of the late James Guy and Essie Franks Dickson. She graduated from Morris Chapel High School in 1958. She played basketball in high school.
She moved to Memphis and was an office manager at an insurance company. She moved to Henderson and married Richard Morrison.
She worked as a clerk and administrator at Lexington Hospital. Mr. Morrison preceded her in death in 2013. She was a very talented lady, enjoying playing the piano.
She spent many of her adult years as a caregiver. She was a Christian in belief.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by a grandson, Ricky Morrison and step grandchildren, Bryan Plunk, Brandon Plunk, Dustin Morrison, Dylan Morrison, Makayla Morrison and Taylor Morrison and a step great grandchild, Myah Morrison Barner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a stepdaughter, Regina Carol Morrison and step grandchild, Tyler Morrison.
