Nelson Eugene “Mule” Thompson, 86, of Florence, died Sunday, October 28, 2018. Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 at noon at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, Florence, with Reverend Keeton Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. The public viewing will be today from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, directing.
