Nellie Walker, 84, resident of Falkner, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully Thursday December 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
A Graveside Service honoring the life of Mrs. Walker will be 10 AM Saturday December 16, 2023, at Falkner Cemetery with Bro. Dan Darling officiating.
Mrs. Walker was born February 4, 1939, in Tyronza, AR to the late Lacy and Louise Hamilton Brewer and received her education from the Arkansas Public School System. She was married February 15, 1964, to her beloved husband of 50 years, Hugh Walker who preceded her in death. Together they lived in the Falkner Community, where Mrs. Walker was dedicated to being a loving wife, mother, and homemaker to her family.
A Christian and God-fearing woman, Mrs. Walker was a firm believer in her faith and was a true example of a virtuous woman. She read her bible daily, prayed over her family continually, and always took every opportunity to share the gospel with others. She was very independent and always played the role as mother to everyone in her family. She will be remembered most for her strong dedication to God, her gracious and welcoming nature, and unwavering love and loyalty to friends and family.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Hugh Walker Jr., Brandon Walker (Logan), and Anthony Walker, one brother, Earnest Brewer, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by three daughters, Debra Walker Grant, Brenda Walker Mitchell, and Debbie Clifton, one son, Robert Michael Walker, and two brothers, William and Lacy Brewer.
