Mrs. Nellie Jo Turner Duckett, age 90, of Albertville, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Mrs. Duckett was born on September 27, 1932 to the late Mr. Samuel J. & Minnie Ethel Turner.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Free (Danny); grandchildren, Michael Stover, Stephen Chandler, Drew Shields (Andrea), Brandi Hunt (Cody), T.J. Duckett, Sean Hooper, Daniel Free (Jacklyn), Alicia (Aaron) Stone; 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Samuel Duckett; daughter, Donna Cheryl Shields; son, Terry Lynn Duckett; sister, Linda Bingham; brothers, Howard, Doyle, Lamar and Arlon Turner.
A visitation for Mrs. Duckett will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the Adams Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Duckett will be laid to rest in Marshall Memory Gardens with Bro. Mark Adams and Bro. Wayne White, officiating. Pallbearers assisting Mrs. Duckett to her final resting place will include; Daniel Free, Drew Shields, Jeff Richards, Michael Stover, Stephen Chandler and T.J. Duckett. In lieu of flowers the family ask for memorial donations be sent to Albertville Methodist Church
