Nellie Jane Freemon White, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired secretary from Hagan Brothers, Inc., and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. She loved to read, working in her yard, watching birds, and talking on the phone with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Reece and Alma Self Freemon; her husband, Bill White, and one grandson, Zachary Tyler Hill.
She is survived by two daughters, Vanessa White Steadman (Eddie) of Ethridge, TN, and Shannon White McLain (Eric) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Charles Irvin Freemon of Nashville, TN; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Hill Redd (Brady) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and four great-grandchildren, Reecelyn Redd, Ruby Redd, Roman Redd and Rancel Redd.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Tuesday, July 02, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 5:00 PM Tuesday, July 02, 2024, with Eddie Steadman officiating. Interment will follow at Freemon Cemetery in Leoma, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Nashville Rescue Mission.
