Nellie Irene Horton, age 89, Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday February 21, 2014 at her home.
She was a member of Henryfield Congregational Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral home in Haleyville. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Ron Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Horton is survived by her children, Jerry Horton, Janice Alexander and Alice Farris; siblings, Ila Horton and Doris Baccus; grandchildren, Micheal Horton, Donna Long, Stephen Horton, John Alexander, Tim Farris and Amy Farris; great grandchildren, Bentley Farris, Colton, Cason, Cruze and Caslie Horton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Octimie Baccus; husband, Hardwick Horton; and siblings, Grady, Odis, Harley, Bill, J.C., Eddie, Walter Baccus, Mae Knox and Letha Baccus.
