Nellie Faye Bennett Gault Profile Photo Nellie Faye Bennett Gault, 86, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born May 1, 1937 to Roy Clifford Bennett and Ruby Tallent Bennett. Mrs. Gault was a member of Saltillo First Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday School class, and served as the Corresponding Secretary for her class. She retired after 32 years as a School Teacher and Liberian with the Saltillo School District. Mrs. Gault enjoyed reading, volunteering with the Girl Scouts. She loved being able to spend time with her family; especially spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Everett Gault, Sr.; one daughter, Vicki Farmer (Dan); one son, Evan Gault (Cathy); six grandchildren, Aynsley Farmer, Seth Farmer (Hannah), Grace Lee (Mason), Noah Gault, Breana Sullivan (Jerry), and Lucas Gault; five great-grandchildren, Goldie, Eliza, Oliver, Jordyn, and one on the way; and two sisters, Etoyl Alred (Jerry) and Pattie Armstrong (Jim).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy Clifford Bennett and Ruby Tallent; five brothers, Roy Bennett, Roy C. Bennett, Jerry Bennett, Jackie Bennett, and Jim Bennett; and two sisters, Lilly Frederick and Geraldine Brown.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. until service time Monday, March 18, 2024, at Pegues, Saltillo.

Services honoring her life will be 4 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Saltillo Chapel of Pegues with Bro. Danny Boudreaux officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Noah Gault, Lucas Gault, Seth Farmer, and Oliver Lee.
