Funeral service for Nell Hampton Steele, 88, will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Jackson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery at Upshaw. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Steele died on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1926, in Lawrence County to Henry Travis Hampton and Nancy Lena Persall Hampton. She was self employed as a farmer and was preceded in death by her husband: James Olan Steele a brother: Coleman Hampton and her parents.
