Nelda Ann Vandiver Franks, age 63, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy & Lila Mae (Mills) Vandiver; sister, Clara Seay; and brother, James Vandiver.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Donnie Hugh Franks; sons, Jeremy Franks (Amanda), Jamie Franks (Mandy), Jesse Franks (Kassie); grandchildren, Lauren Franks, Jett Franks, Madalyn Pruitt (Jordon), Aubrey Shirley, Carley Franks, Conner Franks, Jaston Franks, Emmett Franks; several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Neil Rogers officiating the service. The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Conner Franks, Mark McNatt, Chris Chambless, Chris Brannon, Eli Brannon, and Jimmy Dale Seay. The honorary pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Jerry Lindsey, Pete Smith, Jaston Franks, and Emmett Franks.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
