Neida Gooch Ivey, 92, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024. Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Matson Gooch and Ada Mable Balch Gooch; her husband of 44 years William W. ‘Al’ Ivey; brothers, Richard ‘Dick’ Gooch and Thomas Gooch; and sisters, Mary Ruth Mitchell and Mildred Lavern Gooch.
Survivors include son, Dwight Ivey (Susan); grandson, Adam Ivey (LaBreeska); great-grandchildren, Brennan Ivey, Addison Ivey, Chandler Tart (Savana), and Chloe Tart; great-great-grandchildren, Wilson and Wynnie Tart; sister, Barbara ‘Bobbye’ Ciliax; sister-in-law, Annette Gooch; and brother-in-law, Wesley Mitchell.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
