Navada Williamson, 85 of Baileyton passed away Thursday November 14, 2024, at her residence. Navada was born September 23, 1939, in Talladega County, the daughter of Henry C. Pilkington and Velma Vice Pilkington. She worked at Baileyton School for many years as a custodian and later as a lunchroom worker. She retired after almost 40 years of service. She was married to Genadis Daniel Williamson who passed away May 1, 1996.
She is survived by her sons: Kenny (Barbara) Williamson, Ernie Williamson, Gary Williamson and Glenn Williamson; grandchildren: Brandi (Eric) Sherman and Jackie (Matt) Heaton. The family would like to extend special thanks to neighbors Myra and Bobby Martin, Geraldine Holcombe, Renah and Bonnie Smith and Karen and Tracy Raper for all they have done to help during Navada’s time of illness.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2024, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Brother Jeremy Collier officiating. The burial will be in Baileyton Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gober Funeral Chapel.
