Memorial services for Mr. Nathan Penn Bass will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel.
Nathan Penn Bass, an attorney originally from Humboldt, TN, died unexpectedly on February 27, 2024, at the age of 64.
He is predeceased by his parents, Billie and Betty Bass, and his brother, Joe Bass.
Nathan is survived by his daughter, Zoe Bass; his sister, Treva Walters; and his brother, John Bass. Nathan also leaves behind his former wife, Shelly Bass, with whom he remained close friends, as well as Shelly’s son, Nicolas Diaz.
Nathan was an avid runner and adventurer, a talented writer and storyteller, and one of the most interesting individuals you could ever hope to meet. He had plans to move to Phoenix, Arizona, to start the next phase of his adventure and recently completed an epic road trip down the Historic Route 66 to explore what he intended to be his new home. He has certainly left his mark on this world and will not be easily forgotten by any whose paths cross his own.
