Natchez Trace Parkway visitor center at Colbert Ferry Park holds ribbon cutting

TUSCUMBIA-Mary Risser, superintendent of the Natchez Trace Parkway, cut a ribbon on Tuesday, August 26 to officially open the parkway’s new visitor center at Colbert Ferry Park, north of Cherokee. Assisting Risser, was Bud Pride of Florence, former president of the Alabama chapter of the Natchez Trace Parkway Association.
