Natchez Trace Parkway Read with a Ranger Program: “Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn”

Image result for “Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn” TUPELO, MS – The Natchez Trace Parkway invites children and their families to come enjoy the Read with a Ranger program at 10 am on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at the Parkway Visitor Center. This month’s featured story is “Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn,” where we join a young girl as she takes a walk and greets all the signs of autumn’s arrival. By the end, she has wished summer goodbye and welcomed autumn in. Participants will make their own leaf shaped sun catcher to take home.

Read with a Ranger is a 45-minute program that is most appropriate for ages six and under, but everyone is welcome.  Participants will listen to a story and join in a fun activity. Read with a Ranger features a new story on the second Saturday of the month.
