TUPELO, MS – The Natchez Trace Parkway and the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science invites educators of all subjects and grade levels to a free “Bats and Teachers Seminar” teacher workshop to be held at the Parkway Visitor Center on April 9, 2018, from 2-4 pm and 6-10 pm. The workshop combines both classroom and hands on instruction about Mississippi’s bat populations. During the evening session, educators will work alongside field biologists as citizen scientists to collect data on bats in our backyards. Participants will earn .6 CEUs from Mississippi College.
