TUPELO– The Natchez Trace Parkway’s Sunken Trace, located at milepost 41.5, is featured on Bing’s homepage. The photo features hotspots for additional information, including links to YouTube segments about the Parkway. Hotspots include information about the Sunken Trail; a documentary by Photographer Marc Meunch; the Choctaw Nation who lived along the route; and the salamander wildlife crossing near Jackson, MS.
Bing.com is one of the two major search engines on the Internet and is ranked second with 2.8
billion searches as of October 2013. Since Bing.com now interfaces easily with Facebook, it has
gained popularity with a much larger younger audience. In the future, you can click on the back
button at the lower right section of Bing’s homepage to view the feature about the Parkway.
