Natalie Collier was born to the union of the late Shelby and Mary Wright on
March 16th, 1960 in Tupelo, MS. On Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at Magnolia
Regional Health Center, in Corinth, MS, God called her home.
Natalie attended Shannon High School and lived in Verona, MS where she
also became a member of Chandlers Temple C.M.E Church and raised her
family. She was the mother of three children but affectionally known as
Mama Natalie to all those who loved her. Although she faced many health
trials and tribulations that did not stop her joy. You could always find Natalie
working on a puzzle or diamond painting, cooking, scrolling Facebook and
spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be deeply
missed by all she touched throughout her life.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Veatris Wright-Mairidith
(Ervie) of Jonesboro, Georgia; one son, Devin Wright of Walnut,
Mississippi; two granddaughters Takia Wright and Kaleya Mairidith; one
brother, McKenzie Shannon; one sister, Jeleesa Wright-McCoy (Jeffery);
two aunts Lola Cayson all of Tupelo, MS and Alva Gasaway of Verona, MS;
three uncles, Willie D. Shelley of Mt. Clemons, MI, Larry Farr of Tupelo, MS
and Stanley Wright (Sally) of Shannon, MS; five nieces, Shelley, Joya,
Janieah, Jakeira and Jareiya; one nephew, JaReylan, and a host of other
family, friends, and loved ones too numerous to name.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; brother,
Gregory Wright; daughter Tamara Wright; and granddaughter, Angel
Wright.
