Narion Veronese Parker became absent from the body and present with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Born to the union of the late Shirley and Paul Bibb in Florence on September 17, 1957, she was the oldest of seven siblings. She is preceded in death by one son, Quinton Anthony Henery.
She decided to commit her life to the leadership of Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church, Decatur.
Narion lived a very fulfilling life and one of her favorite things to do was karaoke singing. She had a strong love for singing even though her talent was not as strong. Her signature song was “You Ain’t Woman Enough to Take My Man” by Loretta Lynn.
Left to cherish her memory are siblings, Paul L. Bibb Jr. of Decatur, Trophelia Mosley of Decatur, Vivian Dorsey (Ronald)of Mobile, Jackie Turner (Loverl) of Hartselle, Aric Bibb (Terry) of Marysville, Ohio, Teresa Griffith (Jai) of Kokomo, Ind.; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Memorial service will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday with Dr. Jackie Kay officiating. There will be no public viewing. A private interment will be held at a later date.
