Nancy Suzanne Fleeman, age 64, wife of Ricky Fleeman, and a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at her residence.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM at Mars Hill Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg.
Born on December 30, 1959, in Sheffield, Alabama, Suzanne was the daughter of Shelby Shaffer Phillips and the late Frank Phillips. She married Ricky Fleeman on September 8, 1979. She started her career as a Candy Striper and later worked as a registered nurse for twenty-five years at Crockett Hospital and twelve years at NHC Brink until retirement. A member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, Suzanne also served as a Girl Scout Leader and cherished her role as Nonna to her grandchildren, Graham and Willow.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughters, Renee (Nathan Becker) Fleeman, Rachel (Wes) Grigsby, grandchildren, Graham May, Willow Grigsby, brother, Neil (Jan) Phillips, and sisters and brothers in law, Lynn (Greg) Romsdal, Brenda (David) Fleeman, Linda Fleeman, Doug (Terri) Rawdon.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Nick Fleeman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Care for Critters in Lawrenceburg.
