Nancy Sue Clinard, age 75 of Cross Plains, TN passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services will be held 12pm, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Springfield with Rev. Doug Spain and Rev. Chris White officiating. Burial will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with Josh Clinard, Steve Clinard, Jason Wilkins,, Jonathan Clinard, Anthony Siegrist and Tommy Pinson serving as pallbearers. Alternate pallbearers will be Larry Gregory and B.J. Brooksher. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday, April 28th and 10am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born October, 8, 1945 in Goodlettsville, TN to the late James Roy and Mary Sailor Cheek. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Timmy Cheek, Frankie Cheek and sister, Patricia Blackwell.
She was a homemaker and loved her family very much as well as fishing, bingo, her dachshunds, working outdoors, flowers and helping others, especially those in need.
She is survived by husband, Leroy Brooks Clinard of Cross Plains, TN; sons, Marion R. “Skeeter” (Lisa) Fry of Muscle Shoals, AL, Dwayne Clinard of Summer Shade, KY, James (Jessica) Clinard of Goodlettsville, TN; sisters, Dorothy Tidwell of Lebanon, TN, Margie (Samuel) Hastings of Ridgetop, TN, Margaret McGlothlin of Greenbrier, TN; grandchildren, Abby Clinard, Jonathan Clinard, Zach Fry and great-grandson, Braxton Clinard.
