Ms. Nancy Sanders Bendure, age 74, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Franklin, Tennessee. She was born April 19, 1950 in Dyersburg to the late Robert and Nell Daniel Sanders. She loved teaching. She retired teaching English at LHS with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Expressway Church of Christ, HCEA, TEA, and Retired Teacher Association. She enjoyed traveling, reading, singing, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her two sons, Noel Bendure (Ginny) and Scott Bendure (Rachel); five grandchildren, Kinslee, Tegan, Lillian, Crawford, and Burns Bendure; and a host of extended family.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. The family will receive friends on Friday, 5 – 8 PM and on Saturday, 10 AM – 11 AM.
