Nancy S. “Dean” Robinson Brunson, 81 of Athens, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born April 11, 1939 to Hezzie Richard Madison Robinson and Yora Betty Jane Reece.
She loved sewing, quilting, flowers, gardening, and doll collectibles, but mostly loved God.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Rhonda Brunson (Jeff); daughters, Diana Lewis (Michael), Nadine Brunson, Becky McClear (Rob) and Christine Smith (Hill); son, Dewayne Brunson, daughters, Peggy Brunson and Pam Hasting; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; sister, Emma Jean Wilson (Sonny); several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur Brunson; brothers, Winford Robinson, Pete Robinson, Alford Robinson, and Aaron Robinson; sister, Maxine Johnson; children, Janice Lynn Brunson, Barbara Cobb and Robert Michael Brunson; grandson, Stacy A. Lewis.
Graveside services for Ms. Brunson will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Ray Blankenship officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
