Nancy Ruth Morris, age 76 of Pleasant View, Tennessee died Saturday, July 13, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Thursday, July 18th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with her son, Randy Hester, and her grandson, Jeffrey Hester officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City with Ben Hester, Bradley Brown, Tyler “T-Bone” Brown, Troy Hull, Charlie Binkley, and Michael Mealer serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 17th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Thursday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Nancy was born on August 8, 1947 in Pleasant View to the late Alonzo & Mary Nancy Girard Orange. She loved tobacco farming and was a retired florist from the Cheatham County Florist. She was a Christian.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Buford, Jimmy, and Jody Orange; and sister, Gail Palmore.
She is survived by her husband, Buddy Morris, Jr; sons, Robert (Iris) Hester, and Randy (Tammy) Hester; daughter, Pam “Sissy” Brown; grandchildren, Jessi (Michael) Mealer, Ben (Aliyah) Hester, Jeffrey (Kyla) Hester, Danielle (Troy) Hull, Bradley (Allison) Brown, and Tyler “T-Bone” (Cara) Brown; and nine great-grandchildren; and step-daughter, Christy Daniel.
