Mrs. Nancy Purdy Thomas, 69, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, Sunday May 1, 2022.
Nancy was a retired Registered Nurse having worked many years with home health care in Jackson, Co. and in Madison Co. Alabama, and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Purdy, Betty I. and Jimmy McGullion; grandparents,
Lealus and Beluah Purdy, Raymond and Flossie Pearson.
She is survived by her husband, Perry Thomas; children, Kristie Nash and Brock Burton; sister, Trisha (Ike) Moore; brother Roy Hugh McGullion; grandchildren, Ceairra (Corey) Norris, Rebecca Cagle, Brittany (Christian) McRobie; great grandchildren, Jase, Layla, Coty, Shawna, Carsten, Cainen, Jett, and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 5th from 5 ~ 8 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday May 6th at 11 a.m. at Rudder Funeral Chapel, Scottsboro, Alabama
with Rev. Pat Helton and David Moorman officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Family Cemetery in Bridgeport, Alabama.
