Funeral service for Nancy Perdue Slaten, 73, will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cheatham Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Slaten died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was born July 22, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia, to David Isaac Perdue and Frances Lorene Jamerson Perdue. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She built the HoJo Inn, later changed to the American Classic Inn located in West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Slaten, her parents and a brother: David Perdue.

A visitation was held at the Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Illinois on 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM on September 27th.
