Nancy Pearl Bundick Waddell died on November 2, 2021 after fighting for twenty years with heart issues.
She is survived by her three children, David Scott (Kate) Waddell, Karen Lea (Eddie) Bors and Stephen Mark (Gloria) Waddell, her siblings Yvonne Evans, Colleen Phillips, Donna Pursehouse and Mike Bundick and her husband of fifty-four years Louis Waddell. But she also had several who considered her as a mother that she did not birth, Shawn Renee Robinson, Edwin Eugene Bors and Victoria Tolley all of which will miss her wisdom and advice and her love. Nancy raised not only her own three children but also helped raise her three grandchildren Jessa Lea, Sarah Joelle and Adam Jakob Bors and her great-grandson Aydan Jae Bors as well as her many step-grandchildren who called her Grandma. Despite being legally blind from birth and a survivor of polio as a child she managed to raise so many children all of whom will miss her love and compassion. She was an avid crocheter and donated many baby blankets to friends of the family to newborns until her arthritis and failing health made it too difficult to craft.
She will be greatly missed. A proud American, she was born in Texas, moving to Guntersville, Alabama in 1984. As an amateur genealogist she succeeded in presenting her family heritage as a cross section of American pioneers.
