Funeral services for Nancy O. Garcia, 75, of Walnut are set for Friday, October 25, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Oaks Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chris Bradley, Joshua Bradley, Neil Woods, Braddock Hight, Phil Garcia and Johnny O’Bannon. Born June 20, 1949 in Memphis, TN., Mrs. Garcia passed from this life on Friday, October 18, 2024 at her home in Walnut. She was of the Baptist faith. Nancy was a retired drafter for Memphis Light, Gas and Water. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching the Alabama Crimson Tide, Kansas City Chiefs, crafting, cross stitching, crocheting and going to Cafe Mike’s. One of her greatest joys was taking care of her dog, Baby. Nancy is survived by her granddaughters, Kathry O’Bannon and Jamie O’Bannon Hight (Braddock); 3 great grandchildren, Violet Wallis, Elijah Patterson and Stiles Hight; sister, Joanne Hall; nieces, Jennifer Bradley (Chris), Amy Woods (Neil), Alex Wood, nephew, Joshua Bradley; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Garcia O’Bannon; grandson, Phil Joseph Parsons; father, Joe O’Connor and mother, Chris O’Connor.
