Nancy Lynn Gilley Willis, 70 of Union Grove passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Willis was born May 2, 1948 in Baldwin Mississippi to Almos Tulan Gilley and Nellie Louise Massey Gilley. Mrs. Willis taught for many years in the Marshall County School System. She was married to Bobby Joe Willis for 49 years. She had a true passion for education and loved teaching children. She was a loving wife and mother always putting her family first.
Mrs. Willis was a member of First Baptist Church Union Grove.
She is survived by her husband: Bobby “Bob” Willis; her sons and daughters-in-law: Bryan Willis and Stacey and Brandon Willis and Teri; her daughters: Kathryn Willis Sandell and Audra Willis; her grandchildren: Benjamin Sandell, Brittney Blackmon, Mackenzie Blackmon, Olivia Willis, Brantley Willis, Brody Willis, Hailey Willis, Brynley Willis and Madalyn Willis; her brother and sister-in-law: David Gilley and Angela.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 8, 2018 with Brother Greg Narrell and Mickey Hunt, officiating. Burial will be in the Willis Family Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Sandell, Brantley Willis, Brody Willis, Brynley Willis, Gary Owens Sr., Gary Owens Jr. and Austin Owens.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday May 7, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
