Nancy Lucille Vandiver, 86, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Wayne Kilpatrick will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Vandiver; sons, Randy Vandiver and Greg Vandiver; parents, Arlin and Linnie Oliver; siblings, Velma Lee Moore, Marvalene Richardson, James Oliver, Donnis Oliver, and Kenneth Oliver.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Dianne Benson (Joe); daughter-in-law, Michelle Vandiver; grandchildren, Preston Vandiver, Jay Benson (Kelli), Jess Benson (Beth), and Jody Benson (Julie); great grandchildren, Will, Jacob, Peyton, Sydney, Jincy, and Jase Benson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Special thanks to Dr. Ricky Irons and his nurse, Sally, and to the 5th floor nurses and staff at North Alabama Medical Center for their generous care to my mother.
