Nancy Louise Orrick, 72, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Golden, MS. She was born in Tishomingo, MS and was a homemaker. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Services will be Friday, April 4, 3:30 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Golden, MS with Bro. Jackie Hastings officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 1-3:30 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Church Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela Orrick and Beverly Orrick Harless (Michael); two grandsons, Casey Harless and Evan Harless (Destiny) ; three sisters, Holly McCollum, Regina Irby and Eloise Hall; sister-in-law, Brenda Gassaway Knight and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Orrick; her parents, Cayce and Mildred Gasaway and a brother, Jerry Gassaway.
Pallbearers will be Michael Harless, Casey Harless, Evan Harless, Randy Gassaway and Jason Gassaway.
